SYMPTOMS OF STOMACH DISEASE YOU NEED TO KNOW
Stomach pain causes patients to lose their appetite and eat poorly. After meals, the stomach's digestion is affected, so patients are prone to bloating, flatulence, and discomfort.
This symptom not only appears in patients with stomach pain but also in patients with gastric bleeding, acute gastritis, gastric ulcers, etc. Vomiting a lot with food and gastric juice can easily damage the esophageal mucosa, causing sore throat and other health problems.
This is an important symptom to diagnose stomach pain. Patients are prone to heartburn, belching accompanied by epigastric pain. Food vapor or even food refluxing into the esophagus or throat can also cause damage and pain in the sternum or behind the sternum.
What stage of stomach disease are you in?
LV 1 Gastric congestion /erosion
At level 1, the pain often starts alone or is accompanied by symptoms of indigestion, nausea, and bloating.
Ulcers gradually erode into the stomach wall but do not penetrate the mucosa. The patient will feel increased and more frequent pain. The pain will flare up when hungry, when full or when stressed.
Grade 3 ulcers have progressed severely and damaged the entire mucosal layer, exposing the stomach's muscle layer. Vomiting symptoms also appear more and more, causing the patient to feel tired and lose weight.
Ulcers progress and erode the muscular layer of the stomach. If not treated promptly, this condition can cause bleeding and perforation of the stomach. Deep ulcers cause severe pain, localized pain in episodes, making the patient tired, have poor appetite, and reduce work productivity.
LV 2 Superficial ulcers
LV 3 Gastric/duodenal ulcers
LV 4 Deep ulcer
